MAJOR NICOLETTI SQUARE
Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul
Inaugurated in 1936 and reopened in 2003, it was named for the region’s first major, responsible for the current location of Gramado since January 17, 1913. It also houses the Igreja Matriz São Pedro Church and Palácio dos Festivais, one of the city’s best-known landmarks.
