Answer yourself: how did you get here, in Praça das Etnias? Because there are many possible stimuli!
The first is visual and location: as it is next to the bus station, it is a meeting point for locals and tourists.
The colonial architecture buildings pay homage to three peoples who contributed to creating and developing Gramado: Italians (with a memorial), Germans (settler's house) and Portuguese.
It is essential to remember that before being a tourist destination, Gramado grew with the sweat of its farmers.
You too may have been attracted to the smell of food. Because from the Stone oven, hot breads and cakes come out every day. The colonists take turns to utilize the space. Take the opportunity to chat and ask about the routine!
Here, at Casa de Pedra, you can also find agrotourism tours, to get to know the region. On Saturdays, from 10 am to 7 pm, there is a fair of colonial products, where you can buy products, for example, for a picnic by the lake.
Also enjoy the local handicrafts and be sure to photograph the flower beds, which are always very well maintained.
Welcome, benvenuto (in Italian) and willkommen (in German)!
