Capela São Pedro Claver
On 10/31/1918, the community bought the land of Melânia Foss to build first-class. With the families increasing a lot, it was built as a second capela and, likewise, the first capela passed to be used as a school, or first of the community.
The first chapels were erected by two of the community's own residents. Lastly, by engineer Vitor Ganz and by stoner Alfonso Grins, receiving help from the community with labor and also with money.
There is no record of the inauguration of the two first capelas. At present, it was inaugurated on 09/12/1961 and the shrine of the Altar was in April 1969. At the beginning there was a certain dispute between two families to choose one of two Saints: São João or São Pedro. Now there is a vote in the community. São Pedro ganhou, for we will remember that this was the Padroeiro da Paróquia. So, Father Carmine, or Pároco, researched and suggested São Pedro Claver, with his beautiful story of evangelization. We all accepted.
On the side of the Capela there is the Moinho Cavicchion.

Leaving the Igreja Matriz São Pedro and continuing for 5.2 km on Av. das Hortênsias, it borders on the municipality of Canela, ending on the Gramado route.
As the municipality of Gramado has a second Capela de Caravaggio located in Bairro Várzea Grande, there is an optional path to visit the Capela. However, to get to it, it is necessary to go through Rodovia RS 115. The stretch is dangerous for walkers and cyclists, since most of the trip cannot lie down.
