In Gramado it is possible to visit many of the main attractions on foot. The locations are relatively close and the city is safe, inviting you to delight. Strolling through Gramado means getting to know one of the most beautiful postcards in the south of the country in person. Everything is a reason for a stop, a photo, a meeting point, for a quiet conversation accompanied by contemplation. For this reason, walking becomes much more enjoyable and a great choice!

Palace of Festivals - Ambassador Cine

The structure of the festival palace, in colonial style, stands out with the ornate facade pleo kikito, which symbolizes the god of humor. Conceived by artist Elizabeth Rosenfeld, Kikito is the top prize at the Gramado Film Festival, one of the largest and most prestigious film events in the country. The projection room has a varied program throughout the year with film screenings. The palace has a capacity of 950 seats. The festivals palace has already become one of Gramado's main tourist attractions, and it's impossible to visit the city without stopping in front of the cinema and taking a picture!

Covered street

The covered street is one of the most charming spots in Gramado. A stage for events and presentations throughout the year, Rua Madre Verônica - this is its original name - connects Avenida Borges de Medeiros to Rua Garibaldi. You will find chocolate, leather, clothing, knitwear and gift shops. Bistros and cafes complete the space that brings together great alternatives in shopping and gastronomy.

Flags label

Located in Leopoldo Rosenfeld square, it pays a symbolic tribute to the Brazilian states, through flags hoisted on the spot. It is also where you can find a replica of the "Kikito", the coveted trophy that represents the "God of Good Humor", given to the award winners of the Gramado Film Festival.

Praça das Etnias - Casa do Colono

The square shows visitors the architecture of the main cultures that colonized the city: German, Portuguese and Italian. In the Casa Italiana memorial, open to visitors, an exact replica of the interior of a residence was created, from furniture and utensils, to books and photographs, from the period of colonization of Gramado, around 1900.

Casa do Colono is located in the square of ethnicities, where the visitor can find typical products produced in the interior of the city, being able to delight in cucas and warm breads produced in the ovens located in the square. In the space there is also the fair of organic producers and the departure of agrotourism tours.

Lake Joaquina Rita Bier

The park, designed by Leopoldo Rosenfeld, has 17,000m², in a space surrounded by summer homes, hotels and araucaria trees that are over 70 years old. It was built with shovels and pickaxes. The lake is embellished with a small island inside. A walk along its banks is invigorating.

Municipal Cultural Center

Located next to Lake Joaquina Rita Bier, in a privileged place to house the Gramado culture. Several course options are offered on site, with excellent teachers, such as music, dance, theater and fine arts. Exhibitions and workshops take place monthly, bringing cultural diversity to the public that frequents the Casa da Cultura.

Ladeira das Flores

The beauty of Gramado is known throughout Brazil and there is no one who visits the city without being enchanted by the beautiful gardens and flowerbeds, as is the case of Ladeira das Flores. Located in the center of Gramado, a stretch of Rua Emílio Sorgetz turns into a true colorful path composed of curves and contoured by several varieties of flowers.

Square of roses

Praça das Rosas is a charm in Gramado. Gorgeous. There is no other adjective that more accurately fits the description of the place. Hundreds and hundreds of seedlings of the flower that give the square its name, color the place, leaving all those who visit it in awe.

Belvedere - Quilombo Valley

In this viewpoint, a beautiful landscape unfolds before the eyes of the spectator, showing how privileged and gifted Gramado is by nature. In front of this spectacle of different shades of green, the 85m of altitude seem like a prayer of love and softness, where the human being is integrated in the creation.

Major Nicoletti Square

Inaugurated in 1936 and revitalized in 2003, it was named after the 1st superintendent of the municipality. The Major, who was honored on the spot with a bronze bust, was responsible for the current location of Gramado, the nucleus of the village's headquarters since January 17, 1913. The square comprises, with the Igreja Matriz São Pedro.

Ubicado en el corazón de la ciudad, en el encuentro de las dos principales avenidas de Gramado, Avenida Borges de Medeiros y Avenida das Hortênsias. En el lugar el visitante se siente como en casa. Biblioteca Municipal Cyro Martins

Situada en el edificio de atrás del Ayuntamiento, la Biblioteca Municipal Ciro Martins es una invitación a la buena lectura. Su espacio físico es un lugar agradable, con una sala especial para niños. En su estructura, está disponible para el público un salón comunitario de usos múltiples para gimnasia, reuniones, grupos de oración, ballet, entre otros, además de un salón pedagógico. Infórmate sobre la diversa programación del lugar.

Feria de productos coloniales

Todos los sábados por la mañana se realiza la feria de la Cooperativa de Trabajadores Rurales, donde se pueden adquirir productos coloniales directamente de los productores de nuestro interior.

Plaza del molino

Praça do Moinho reúne comercio y gastronomía. Cuenta con el típico termómetro de Gramado donde se puede tomar una de las fotos más tradicionales de quienes visitan la ciudad, sobre todo si el clima es frío. También llaman la atención sus cuidados jardines y las flores esparcidas por el centro comercial, sin mencionar las dos araucarias que se encuentran en la vereda brindando una agradable sombra para sentarse y descansar.

Mother's Square

Located in the roundabout of the pine trees, in the center of Gramado, the square of mothers has an oak - European symbolizing respect for life and the history of Gramado. There is a monument to the first inhabitants of Gramado: the Caingangues Indians. The statue of a woman with her child on her lap is life-size and represents the first mother to live in the municipality. The square also received another attraction with a noble meaning. The monument to the donor angel, a bronze sculpture approximately 2.20 m high, with a concrete plinth and surrounding landscaping, will be part of the site. The sculpture was donated by Via Vida - Pró Donações e Transplantes, which seeks to honor the anonymous donor of organs and tissues.

Clock church

The Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Confession in Brazil (IECLB) was inaugurated on February 5, 1961 and dedicated to the apostle Paul, a follower of Christ. Its clock is part of everyday life in the city and its location, on a bouquet of hydrangeas, is one of Gramado's postcards.

Saint Peter's Church

Opened in 1942, it is one of the largest demonstrations of religiosity in the community. The basalt stone-mounted structure displays stained glass art with sacred images and in perfect architectural harmony. The tower, 46m high, inspires a prayer to Saint Peter, the patron saint.

Fountain of eternal love

Located next to the Igreja Matriz São Pedro, the fountain enchants visitors. The idea is that you hang a padlock declaring all your love, for someone, Gramado or for some other reason, the choice is yours.
