In the midst of valleys and streams in the towns of Campestre do Tigre and Tapera, where the protagonists of the book and film “O Quatrilho” lived, visitors are invited to learn about the history of the families that colonized these lands. The cultivation of fruit and the production of wine, a colonial mill, the charming setting of a viewpoint, nature and the abundant food make the tour an unforgettable moment.
MOINHO GRINGS
The mill was built in the late 19th century by the Trentin and Dal Ri families. It was these families that, a few years later, inspired an unusual story that became a movie: O Quatrilho. In 1952 the property passed to the Grings family, continuing with the work of the mill, rye and rice, also doing other activities such as agriculture and animal husbandry.
FAMÍLIA LAZARETTI
More than 120 years ago, the Lazaretti Family took root in a small piece of land in the countryside of Gramado. Nowadays, the fourth generation continues the cultivation of vines and the production of colonial and graspa wine. Having in its cellar, where visitors are welcomed, wooden barrels produced by the family.
FAMÍLIA RAMMHere visitors are invited to a trip to the past, marked by emotional and unique experiences. The typical lunch brings back, through its recipes, the history, flavors and tradition of the Family in a place blessed by nature. It will be an immersion in German and Italian culture, in a tasty lunch, with wine and juice included.
TRANSPORTATION
Brocker Turismo conducts the tour aboard a vintage bus departing from one of the most visited spots in Gramado, Praça das Etnias - which brings all the culture of the country man to the city center. Here, tourists can visit the colonist's house, the ovens, the Italian Memorial and the German and Portuguese style houses.
