Gaucho Park
Parque Gaúcho is the only theme park in the world that rescues the formation and evolution of the gaucho, its uses and customs. The enterprise has a complete infrastructure of culture, gastronomy and leisure. Covering an area of 120,000 square meters, the park has a memorial to the gaucho, a themed restaurant, an arena for shows and domas, a program for the rescue of animals and criols, a children's shed, a playful space that teaches gaucho traditions especially for children, an organic garden , herbarium, space for art exhibitions from Rio Grande do Sul, mango tree for presentations of the rural work and space for artistic shows.
Another attraction of the enterprise is Cidade dos Gaúchos. The interactive thematic space presents the main types of inhabitants of the interior of the Pampa in the 18th century. In total, there are 10 thousand meters of covered area.
The park's restaurant also promotes an unprecedented show of typical gaucho cuisine. In addition to serving lunch, the restaurant features the newest gastronomic attraction in Rio Grande do Sul: Café Gaucho. Warm country bread fresh from the wood-fired oven, hot-roasted sausage, fresh butter, dulce de leche, orange blossom honey are among the delights of Café Gaúcho.
CTG Manotaço
The center of gaucho traditions manotaço, with headquarters located in the center of the city and in the Mato Queimado neighborhood, began its activities on March 15, 1954, the same year of political emancipation of the municipality.
Founded by the traditionalist Lúcio Peregrino Petersen, the entity is part of the history of Gramado and receives many visitors from the community of the city and region for its annual rodeo, with country events, with the delivery of trophies for the first places, presentations of artistic winters and holding dances.
CTG Manotaço preserves and disseminates the roots and traditions of the gaucho people. It also carries out actions aimed at transmitting the gaucho culture to children and adolescents in the community.
